Proudly listed as a supplier on Australian Parachute Federation, we know how important it is to get your equipment right. Which is why we’re focused on safety as much as we are on fun, and we know quality equipment gives you the ability to have a good time with peace of mind.
We want you to jump safely and with confidence, which is why we’re not only here to offer you leading products and services but also advice. At Downward Trend, you are backed by a number of skydiving enthusiasts, including our Founder, Brett Newman.
Brett’s a skydiving enthusiast with 20 years experience and over 13,000 jumps under his belt. Originally from New Zealand, Brett combined his love of adventure and a commitment to safety to train and become a leading parachute technician. When he moved to Australia, he found that there was a lack of good riggers and was determined to offer this service to skydivers so that they could skydive safely, so Downward Trend was born!
Fast forward almost 20 years, and Brett’s still as passionate about safety and adventure as he was in 2000 when Downward Trend was born. Today, the company has now grown to offer everything from rigging to gear sales, and even instructional videos.
